How to Get Drunk Off Happiness

According to Henry David Thoreau: “Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.”
A large number of psychologists dare to differ. According to them if you chase the pretty butterfly named happiness enough you might just get it to come and hop on your shoulder. Here are eight simple — and some of them, essential – steps to happiness:
1. Stop dwelling.
The past is precious because you can learn from your mistakes and learn from others’ mistakes.
The pain is just training; it doesn’t define you. Think about what went wrong but stop dwelling on it. Decide how you will make sure that, next time, it won’t happen again.
Choose to remember the good times. Choose to forget the pain and the tears. Only then can the heartaches heal.
2. Stop buying possession, start buying experiences.
Instead of buying that extravagant piece of diamond, why not go on a trip to a place that has always intrigued you?
No doubt buying things makes us feel better immediately, but at the end of the day it’s the experiences that count. They enrich our lives and make memories that remain for years.
3. Pay compliments.
Start paying compliments. If you like someone’s hairdo or their shoes or their smile, go ahead, tell them. Tell them you find them beautiful, with a smile. And the moment you do that, you will feel better about yourself. The idea behind this is when you know you can make someone feel better about themselves, you automatically feel good about yourself too.
Studies show this works.
4. Stop blaming, Foster forgiveness.
When you blame others for a mistake they did, you, yourself, carry half the burden of their faults on your shoulders.
If the loss is too great, forgiveness will take time. Know that holding onto grudges will only increase your pain.
5. Start a gratitude journal.
Maintain a gratitude diary. Write down all the things you are grateful for.
You saw a baby and she smiled at you at the coffee shop. It made you feel so good; write it down in your diary.
Doing this exercise can calm despair and promote happiness.

6. Do what you like. Live your dreams.
This is a very simple and easy thing to do, but we rarely we do it.
Do you like reading? Sit all day at home and read those books you love.
Do you like dancing but due to something or the other you never got a chance to take your dancing onto another level?
I say, do it right now. Go get yourself enrolled into a dance school or dance at parties for fun. Go and try your luck in a reality show. Do it! Curbing our desires for the sake of fitting in the society or under any other pressure is no good. Do what you really want to.
7. Learn something new.
Think of a subject, a country or a flower that you wish you knew more about and spend 20 minutes on the Internet reading about it. Or, if you prefer, go to a bookstore and buy a book on the subject. Pick a subject that is really close to your heart, not something that you think you ‘should’ know or ‘need to’ learn about.
8. Smile!
Indeed the simplest step to happiness.
Even if you don’t feel like it, fake it! Research shows that even a fake smile induces hormones that make you feel better instantly.
Learn to take these simple little conscious steps towards happiness and it will do wonders to your life.

Gift From the Sea

I always loved the book "Gift From The Sea” by Anne Morrow Lindbergh.
“Solitude say’s the moon shell. Every person, especially every woman, should be alone sometime during the year, some part of each week, and each day. To some woman, such a program seems quite out of reach.”

This summer make a commitment to put yourself first. Spend time in quiet solitude. Go to the ocean or lake and take the time to reconnect with your true essence.  See what calls to you and take it into your entire being.  Allow the knowingness of your divinity to flow through you as you remember the love you are.  Connect with the peace, harmony and joy- no matter what takes place in the outside world.  In this way you create a centeredness and a grounded-ness and it radiates out to a multitude of others and reflects back to you, just as the waters reflect back the sun’s rays.

Enjoy all of your senses; breath in and smell the freshness of the air and allow yourself to grow and expand.  Touch and feel the softness of the water and let your life flow with ease and grace. Listen to the messages (from God and the angels)  as they lovingly guide you. See the beauty in All things.

Love,

Each of us is a Flower

Thank you each for the Divine and Unique gift that you are.  I feel so blessed to know each and everyone of you.  This picture of the bouquet of flowers is a representation of the varied and beautiful gifts that each of you are. Perhaps you are like the pink rose, soft and fragile while also holding the enormity of love that you are.  Or the blue of the hydrangea, with the peaceful essence of clarity and serenity.  The pureness and the innocence of the white Baby's breath.  The joyful, big sunflower as you raise your face to the sun, allowing it's warmth to nourish your soul. The coral-orange, creating and experiencing a life of fulfilled dreams.
Perhaps you resonate with the energy of the Violet lotus expanding and connecting to the deep wisdom which resides within.

In Truth, we are not the limited individuals and social roles that society tells us we are. We are each like dynamic cosmic flowers unfolding, our actions and movements a creative manifestation of Universal activity.

Each day brings a new gift for us, as we each remember and embrace the gift that we are. Enjoy each day, and allow your colors to shine and emanate out touching all of life.

Thank you for sharing your beauty and magnificence with me! You are a treasure to behold.

Affirm “I am free to be me!”

PS I found this song, and wanted to include it as it “sang to me”!

Home is where the Heart is ~

“Be like a flower and turn your face to the sun” ~  Kahill Gilbran

Nature offers people a path of harmony through reconnection with the green earth.  Harness the energy of Spring to clear your home and soul space. It feels so good to drink in the fresh, new energy. Allow this energy to germinate and flower into new exciting ways, both within your heart and home. Let the sun’s warmth and light fill your soul and sparkle out for all to see.  Your home is a reflection of who you are, and there is a clear connection to what you place your attention and intention on.
You can align your inner intentions and become aware of the manifestations  you create in your outer realities.  If your home is filled with clutter this creates energetic barriers in your mind, body and soul. Obstacles are created with this clutter and are best cleared out as to let energy flow freely throughout your home and your life so that you may thrive.  Keep the energy in your home, and within your sacred heart vital by treating it as an important aspect of your life. Breath deeply and connect with the elements of wind, water, earth and fire to bring about a sense of balance and harmony into your life.

Here are a few helpful tips in ushering in the energies of beauty, abundance and peace...

*Clutter acts like hurdles placed in your path, blocking you from creating the life you want to lead.
Alleviate clutter in one area at a time, as to not become overwhelmed. Move from one corner to the next until one room is clutter free. Now, doesn't that feel freeing!  Continue on this path and validate yourself as you progress and shift into a higher more joyful energy level.

*Remember that we are connected to All that is. We are as abundant as the air that we breath and the water that flows freely. There is no lack and  No needs. By shifting your perceptions, you alter the way you direct your energy and attention, thereby creating a fulfilling prosperous life. It is amazing to realize that we are connected to Source  and that when we are in alignment to the knowingness of an abundant life, that is indeed what we create.

*Beauty is your essence.  Appreciate yourself, and know that your home is a reflection of the love and the light that you hold within you.  Play with the natural light, allowing it to cascade in and filter through your home.  Bring in color and watch how it transforms a bland space into a vibrant warm envelope for your enjoyment.

Applying Color to your life

I've always loved Color! Luckily I grew up in a household that embraced color in all manner. Wether it was "what color will I wear today?" to How can I play with color in the design of my home?"
Yes, color played a strong role for me and continues to do so.  Now I apply color to my days in a multitude of ways.   During my sessions I incorporate the use of color in  creating a beautiful tapestry and pallet to invoke refreshing, peaceful, passionate and positively expansive feelings.

Color is a form of non verbal communication. It is not a static energy and its meaning can change from one day to the next with any individual - it all depends on what energy they are expressing at that point in time.
Please check this out; color in action.

Green balances our energy so that in looking at it we feel confident that growth is inevitable.

"Green is a combination of the colors yellow and blue, each of which brings its own unique energy to the overall feeling of the color green. Blue exudes calm and peace, while yellow radiates liveliness and high levels of energy. As a marriage between these two very different colors, green is a unifier of opposites, offering both the excitement of yellow and the tranquility of blue. It energizes blue’s passivity and soothes yellow’s intensity, inspiring us to be both active and peaceful at the same time. It is a mainstay of the seasons of spring and summer, thus symbolizing birth and growth.

Green is one of the reasons that spring instigates so much excitement and activity. As a visual harbinger of the end of winter, green stems and leaves shoot up and out from the dark branches of trees and the muddy ground, letting us know that it’s safe for us to come out, too. In this way, green invites us to shed our layers and open ourselves to the outside world, not in a frantic way but with an easygoing excitement that draws us outside just to sniff the spring air. Unlike almost any other color, green seems to have its own smell, an intoxicating combination of sun and sky—earthy, bright, and clean. In the best-case scenario, it stops us in our tracks and reminds us to appreciate the great experience of simply being alive.

Green balances our energy so that in looking at it we feel confident that growth is inevitable. It also gives us the energy to contribute to the process of growth, to nurture ourselves appropriately, without becoming overly attached to our part in the process. Green reminds us to let go and let nature do her work, while at the same time giving us the energy to do our own." By Madison Taylor

How will you incorporate color into your day today?

Some examples of The Meaning of Colors...

Red is the color of energy, passion, action, ambition and determination. It is also the color of anger and sexual passion.

Orange is the color of social communication and optimism. From a negative color meaning it is also a sign of pessimism and superficiality.

With the meaning of colors, in color psychology, yellow is the color of the mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. However it can also suggest impatience, criticism and cowardice.

Green is the color of balance and growth. It can mean both self-reliance as a positive and possessiveness as a negative, among many other meanings.

Blue is the color of trust and peace. It can suggest loyalty and integrity as well as conservatism and frigidity.

Indigo is the color of intuition. In the meaning of colors it can mean idealism and structure as well as ritualistic and addictive.

Purple is the color of the imagination. It can be creative and individual or immature and impractical.

The color meaning of turquoise is communication and clarity of mind. It can also be impractical and idealistic.

The color psychology of pink is unconditional love and nurturing. Pink can also be immature, silly and girlish.

In the meaning of colors, magenta is a color of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life.

The color brown is a friendly yet serious, down-to-earth color that relates to security, protection, comfort and material wealth.

From a color psychology perspective, gray is the color of compromise - being neither black nor white, it is the transition between two non-colors. It is unemotional and detached and can be indecisive.

Silver has a feminine energy; it is related to the moon and the ebb and flow of the tides - it is fluid, emotional, sensitive and mysterious.

Gold is the color of success, achievement and triumph. Associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the color psychology of gold implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.

White is color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion.

Black is the color of the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, creating an air of mystery. It keeps things bottled up inside, hidden from the world.

Resonance

sun_and_moon_by_tobaal-d5f90o6March was a landmark month energetically, with several rare planetary alignments, including a Super moon, Solar Eclipse and Equinox all within the same 24 hours on March 21st! Coming as it did just after the 7th of 7 exact T-Squares, everything points to that day being a moment of paradigm shift – a time of great Awakening. Our ancient ancestors believed that Eclipses open a portal to higher realms, making it possible for us to receive huge downloads of information. That is why they built sophisticated and mysterious structures such as Stonehenge and Newrange, which were designed to amplify the powerful cosmic energies being made available to them.
Despite the opening of powerful Stargate portals and the potential for new beginnings offered by the current universal geometries however, many people find it difficult to believe that anything is really changing when chaos still seems to reign, and evidence of human mayhem continues all around us. Perhaps this ‘madness’ is part of a deep cleansing of the planet? And perhaps how quickly we can integrate the new energy and adjust to it, will depend on the level of each individual’s vibratory frequency. We are being asked I think, to do everything in our power to raise our vibration out of 3D density and into the higher frequencies of Light. This always has been and still is, the prime purpose and raison d’ĂȘtre of the  ‘Sounds of Sirius’. It’s my belief that the melodies, tones and Light Language that flow through me from the higher dimensional realms, are being gifted quite specifically to raise the vibration of those who receive them, and in so doing, reconnect them with their soul’s original blueprint.
There is concrete evidence to suggest that Mother Earth herself is shifting her vibration, in order to adapt to the paradigm shift. The Schumann Frequencies are the ‘sound’ of the earth. It’s like hearing the sound of a big drum, with that drum being the earth’s resonant cavity. Only a few years ago the earth was vibrating at around 7.8 hertz, but a few days ago, the Schumann frequency hit 16.5. This demonstrates that the earth itself is changing…she is literally speeding up!

Why is the number 16.5 important?
16.5, 33, 66, 132, 264….these numbers are all harmonic to the Solfeggio tone 528, which is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA – the gentetic blueprint upon which life is based.
What are Solfeggio Frequencies?
Here’s a short clip that explains the basis of the Solfeggio tones.
If the Schumann frequency is resonating at a harmonic of 528 – the frequency scientists use to repair broken DNA – it would suggest would it not then, that our DNA may be repairing itself right now? Perhaps Mother Earth’s change of vibration to the harmonic of 528 is kick-starting our DNA re-activation, in order that we can move in sync with her, as she transcends 3D density to enter 4th and 5th dimensional realms.
Schumann+Resonance1
The following excerpt from channel and healer Malcolm Bell’s book ‘Rider in the Mist’ reinforces the idea of the intrinsic connection between human beings and Planet Earth:-
“The human being is comprised of five bodies: the physical, the mental, the emotional, the spiritual, and the higher self. Any change in the earth’s energy field affects all five bodies, so all five have to be realigned – adjusted in increments according to the varying and ongoing energy fluctuations – and brought back into balance and harmony. In short, the symptoms that people were experiencing were the body’s response to the changing vibration. The body was struggling to adjust to the previously unknown, and never before encountered, elevated and newly patterned energy levels. Unknown to us at times such as this, the body searches through its ancient tribal and genetic memory bank imprints, in an attempt to find a pre-existing pattern to align with. Finding none, it now has to embark upon a critical program of developing and implementing a precise and compatible alternative energy-pattern match. In the process of doing so, all five bodies endure considerable discomfort and confusion.”
Malcolm Bell – ‘Rider in the Mist’
The many and varied symptoms that people have been experiencing over the past few years as their bodies attempt to align with the huge ‘Shift of the Ages’ taking place, have become so widespread that they have called ‘Ascension Symptoms’.
So don’t panic if you have been feeling kind of strange, ungrounded, exhausted, dizzy, fuzzy or depressed – you are not alone! As Mother Earth continues to uplift her vibration to the New Earth dimensional frequencies, with our Sun assisting by sending us massive charges of intense radiation on almost a daily basis now, you are instinctively acclimatising and trying to match her vibration, so that you can travel with her on the ‘Ascension’ path.

The Spring Equinox, Solar Eclipse and the Super New moon

Typically I don't venture into astrology in my blogs because I feel there are so many gifted people covering these topics, and yet this "event" is calling to me.

This is a very unique occurrence and will not occur again until 2053. Today, March 20, 2015 is the Spring Equinox, Super full moon and Solar eclipse. So you may be wondering, what exactly does all this mean?  This configuration offers an influx of light assisting us in paving a brand new path.
Due to the monumental shifts of energy, frequency and consciousness  humanity is now receptive to higher levels of light than at any previous time. Yes, this is monumental moment as we are in uncharted territory.  As this influx of light enters it creates an acceleration for the purging process assisting us in the letting go of the energies that no longer serves us.  Anything that is not in alignment with love, harmony and peace is being brought to the surface so we can let go of it. Yes, it may appear to be chaotic, and just remember that anything that does not resonate with the highest frequencies are coming up to be cleared away.  All you need to do is Allow the lower vibrational elements of fear, judgment, lack, un-forgiveness and so forth to be released.  One of the ways you can assist in this purging is to call in the violet flame which transmutes the negativity into the light, rather than creating any more chaos. Call upon Saint Germain while invoking the violet flame to assist you in transmuting the lower energies into the higher frequencies of harmony and peace.
It's Freeing and liberating, with lots of shifts and changes..as we come to the close of a cycle. Accept the past.  Accept yourself. This is  a time of Acceptance, compassion.. and a time to let go. Work with the Energies of the  deep cosmic realms to purify yourself.

This cleansing brings in the New. The Spring is also the time for new beginnings- a birthing time.
Tap into the next wave from the cosmic energies. Unite your infinite possibilities in the physical realm of earth.  Tap into your eternal self where all  is calm and clear.   Ground yourself and allow this wisdom of cosmic energy to funnel through you.  Center yourself in a calm balanced place. Still your mind and your thoughts. Tap into the highest potential by giving thanks. Be grateful.  You are a Unique being with special gifts. Tap into your own uniqueness and bring it forth. Take this time to connect with your inner awareness and be a  generator of dreams! We all get different dreams.   Affirm, I am going to bring in "this"dream, and it's never been seen before, done before, or experienced before.
Enjoy the creative process!

Love,
Kathy
